ACTIVITIES DONE IN 2011:
The Goa Cancer Society has been helping the needy patients, the cancers screening bills & OPD bills have been paid of various patients.This year cancer screening bills & OPD bills paid by the Society amounted to Rs.41090.
Financial assistance to needy patients was given by the society, payment of Rs. 26,235/- for 17 patients was made. This activity was conducted from 16.12.12 to 1.02.11.
Total Financial assistance given was Rs. 67325
ACTIVITIES DONE IN 2012:
Goa Cancer Society has paid the OPD bills of 4 patients this year amounts to Rs.34340.
ACTIVITIES DONE IN 2013:
Screening of the cancer patients organized by the Goa Cancer Society, dated 5/2/13 & 2/3/13 (one month) was offered in Manipal Hospital.
In all 25 patients were checked and the bill of Rs. 18,750/- was paid by the society.
The bill of Mrs. Ana Ditosta Pinto of Rs. 21,626/- was paid on 6/6/2013 as patient financial condition was bad.
ACTIVITIES DONE IN 2014:
The Cancer Screening Program was organized in association with Manipal Hospital and 77 patients were screened for cancer check-up and The Goa Cancer Society has borne the expenses of Rs. 99,795/- ( Rupees Ninety Nine Thousand Seven Hundred & Ninety Five only).
We also organized “World Cancer Day” on 05-04-2014 in association with Manipal Hospital, Goa. .20 cancer survivor patients were honoured with the “GET WELL SOON KIT”
The amounts of Rs. 12,290/- for function expense were borne by the Goa Cancer Society.
